Meet iSocket 3G

We announce iSocket 3G today, 1 October 2015. This new iSocket model will operate on any 3G network worldwide. It will operate on T-Mobile and AT&T Networks in USA.

The key offering with this model is power outage monitoring - via any 3G network. iSocket 3G will also support remote temperature monitoring as did iSocket Environment Pro. Remote switch and reboot via the mobile network comes as a standard feature for this Smart Plug.

iSocket 3G is ideal for developers who want to write their own monitoring services, because it offers Open API. We don’t lock this plug to any specific operator or cloud. We will not charge monthly fees, you can install any SIM cards and we also help you to find suitable, inexpensive SIM cards.

Pre-ordering is currently available for USA and Canada. iSocket 3G for other countries will be available soon after certification is finished in the next year.
